Where Do I Start?
By visiting our site, you have already started. Maybe you have reviewed our guides to divorce, alimony, property, support, and custody. You have a general understanding of your rights under Virginia law. Now, it is time to take action to protect your rights.
Free Initial Consultation
The first step is to schedule a free initial consultation at our office. We will answer your questions and can develop a plan of action. The initial consultation lasts up to one hour. That is enough time to decide whether you want us to represent you in your case, and whether we can help. You should not have to pay anything just to speak with me – which is why we provide a free consultation.
Flat Rate
We handle every case on a flat rate. That way, there are no runaway costs – just a fixed amount that you can know upfront. It makes billing easy for you, and while I will keep track of my time, you will have the peace of mind knowing exactly what your services will cost after the initial consultation.
The exact rate we charge depends on a number of factors. Therefore, there is no set rate schedule that can be published online. It varies in each case depending on whether the parties have already reached an agreement on separation, division of property, custody, support, and other matters.
Accepted Forms of Payment
We accept various forms of payment, including cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover. We can arrange payment plans, if necessary, in order to accommodate you.
